This is absolutely one of my very favorite books from my childhood. I hunted down a copy for our library. The story is a little longer than some other picture books, but the kids love it.

Very cute art - I've never heard of this book before since I wasn't raised in US.

I love the dots you used to paint in the picture with. The story is new to me, but I like that style, will have to look it up.

I'm stopping by from Friday Follow, I am now an official Friday Fool, oops, I mean Friday Follow Night Owl.

I love the picture! My daughter is studying (I use the term loosely, it's pre-school) Australia and informed me that the aborigines often use dots in their art. Well!

Nice to meet you, Amy, I hope you'll follow me back-

Kelly,
We are studying Australia also so it worked out to read this book and do this craft.
We also learned that they use dot art too.
Its really cool hearing what others are doing.
Have a blessed day!!!

My SIL gave me this book awhile back and Haley loves this book. It's a very cute book, a little long but worth it.
