Nature Poetry

Our son wrote his first poem the other day while he was listening to nature. Here is what he wrote:

I listen to the winds song.
It reminds me of a song.
The wind makes bells ring, what a beautiful sound.
The wind and the trees make a beautiful sound,
from the birds that chirp, to the bees that buzz,
What a Beautiful sound!!!

Then wrote in his nature journal as Psalm

Psalm 19:6
The sun rises at one end of the sky
and it follows its path to the other end nothing hides from it's heat.

Here is two more of his poems:

When I sit in the trees shade I feel nice and cool.
It makes me want to sing.
God I thank you for the trees.
By: D Man

Psalm 3:3
But Lord you are my shield,
You are my wonderful God who gives me courage.

When I stare at the purple pickerelweed, it makes me want to sing.
Beautiful is the pickerelweed that sits in the water.
This world would not be complete without this flower.
By: D Man

The Pickerelweed was at our local Preserve.

D Man also drew a picture of the Pickerelweed.

It's so awesome to be God's creation and marvel at his goodness.

How impressive. It is so nice that your son notices all the gifts around us and that he can find inspiration from them. He is lucky he can express himself so nicely too.

Great post.
