WALGREENS HEALTHCARE CLINIC-BUSY HOMESCHOOL MOM LOOKING TO SAVE ON HEALTHCARE.

I am a member of the Collective Bias Social Fabric Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.
All opinions are 100% my own #cbias #SocialFabric

As a home school mom scheduling time to make appointments for the doctor can be difficult.I home school our children during the day along with field trip and at night we have church, activities and other things that take up our time. I don't always take the time to get myself checked out or when I'm sick to just make the time to go to the doctors. Our family doesn't have medical insurance which makes it difficult to go the doctors. It has to be a real emergency. Knowing that we have a local Walgreens Health care Clinic for my busy and crazy schedule is relieving to me. I recently visited a Walgreens Health care Clinic near to my home for when I need care I know its available.

I noticed when I walked into the Walgreens they had plenty of signs with information and directing you to the clinic.
What's so nice about the Walgreens Healthcare Clinic is that they have the pharmacy right next to the health care clinic for immediate access to the medicine the doctor will prescribe. One shop health care.

When I visited The Walgreens Healthcare Clinic I noticed they offered many services to us at low cost:

Vaccines
Physicals
Blood Pressure Screening
Diabetes screening
Allergies
Sinus Infections
Sprains and strains
Wart removal

With school in full gear most children need vaccines and physicals. Walgreens Healthcare Clinic offers both of these and I'm sure this sets a lot of moms at ease. They are saving time and money.

I'm amazed at what they offer. You should check out the list of services they offer. Our family doesn't have health care coverage and its really nice to know if I need care I can walk into our local Walgreens and get immediate care for me or my family:)

I love that Walgreens takes pride in wellness of there customers. When you walk in you feel welcomed and at ease.

The Walgreens Healthcare Clinic is a easy and simple process, you walk up to the touch screen and put your information in the system. It will then give you a wait time. You usually don't have to wait very long. Also Walk-Ins are always welcome. Now when can you get health care and just walk in. Never!!! You will either see a nurse practitioner or doctors assistant this all depends on what you are going through. I would rather make a visit to the Walgreens Healthcare Clinic for short wait times and fast service. You know whenever you schedule an appointment with the doctors you will be there for hours. Who has time for that?

The clinics are open 7 days a weeks with morning, daytime and evening appointments are available. This is convenient for those of you that work. I observed that the waiting room was clean and the time I went there was one in the waiting room. Most insurance are accepted but if you don't have insurance like me, then you have a great alternative.

I was pleasantly surprise that the examine room was well equipped and very clean. The examine room had plenty of space for siblings or spouses. The Walgreens Healthcare Clinic recently revamped there #HeathcareClinic, Its looking nice!!!!

I also noticed that Walgreens had a complete makeover. They have everything labeled so nicely so when you need to find something you won't have trouble finding your medications after your visit to the healthcare clinic. I'm all about organization. This helps me to get and out in a timely manner with two children.

Until visiting Walgreens Healthcare Clinic I had no clue that they even had a clinic. I'm thankful that I found out about this clinic:)

COOKIES KIDS FALL WARDROBE #COOKIESKIDS #CBIAS

I realized that our children needed some new FALL clothing. We decided to check out CookieKids.com. This was my first time shopping at CookiesKids.com. I was so surprised that they had many different name brands at reasonable prices. You will be savings when you shop at CookiesKids.com

Cookies Kids is celebrating there 40th year in business. Here is a little history about Cookies Kids.

In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer andFall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children's clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on it's way.
As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.
By the late 1990's there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie's Kids. Also in the late '90s came an important addition to Cookie's Kids' inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie's Kids Inventory.

It doesn't matter where you live, we all need clothes to cover our bodies. I know in this day and age, we also need to save so that's why CookiesKids.com is so great. Our children don't know the difference between name brands or not. They pick out what they like when they look at the item. It doesn't matter to me either but when I know the prices are pretty close to other brands then I would buy the name brands.

This Levi Shirt was 33% off the original price. This was a great price and you are getting a stylish shirt for your child. DMan loved this shirt when we were looking on the website.

    Boys Department:

We purchased a pair of jeans for everyday occasions. Especially for the FALL season as it will be a little cooler.

Alva Kids is located on the page where the size option is. You may want to get a better idea of what size your child will fit. Alva Kids will help you with this. You can download onto your phone as well for easy and fast convenience. Alva Kids will save you time, you wouldn't have to return the item after the fact.

Our daughter choose the Skecher "Stellar Stars"Three Piece Set which can be used during the FALL during the cooler months. I can't wait to get what we ordered from #Cookies Kids.

Our shopping cart had three items for the FALL. We only spent $49 with shipping. Now that's a bargain.
I have some more pictures of our shopping experience at my Google Plus Story

When we received out package we were all excited. I love getting new items.

Ducky in her NEW FALL Fashion from CookiesKids.com.She wore it to church today. She looked so cute in her new outfit. I love the sparkly stars on her top.

DMan in his new Levi shirt and Mecca Pants, already for church. Don't you love the color on this shirt.

Our two children sporting there NEW clothing from Cookies Kids.

Today we went to a FALL Festival at our friend's house and Ducky had on her FALL wardrobe.

    KRAFT COOL WHIP FROSTING #COOLWHIPFROSTING #CBIAS #SOCIALFABRIC

I love this time of the year. When the weather is changing, leaves are changing and the smell of the air is fresh. Even here in Florida I have seen some leaves changing colors and the weather has gotten ALOT cooler. I was so excited to go shopping at Walmart to purchase the NEW Cool Whip Frosting for our delicious Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes.

The NEW Cool Whip Frosting comes in several favors:

    Vanilla
    Cream Cheese
    Chocolate

They all look wonderful but we choose vanilla because we felt like that was the best fit for what we were going to make.
While we were at Walmart we needed to pick up several items for our Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes. Please check out Google Plus Story for further info on our shopping experience.

Cool Whip is one of my favorite during the holidays or anyday for pumpkin pie and many other desserts that we love to use all year long to celebrate everyday occasions. You don't have to have a party to celebrate LIFE. Everyday we wake up to a fresh new day and that's something to celebrate.

Although we don't celebrate Halloween, we do Celebrate spending time with each other. Before we go home to make our Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes we stopped at the Pumpkin Patch for some FALL pictures and to celebrate everyday occasions.

This is a family affair, we didn't to have a reason to spend time, we just DO IT!!! I think cooking with our kids is so much fun and the children love it too.

First we mixed the dry ingredients in one bowl.
Then we mixed the wet ingredients in our VitaMix.
    Stir wet ingredients into dry
The reason I picked these cupcakes was because the recipe came from my friend that made these Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes for our homeschool group one day and they were delicious.

    Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes:
1 1/2 cups blanched almond flour
    1/4 teaspoon sea salt
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/4 ground ginger
    1 pinch ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie seasoning
    2 tablespoons coconut oil
    1/2 cup agave nectar
    2 large eggs
1 cup of canned or fresh pumpkin

Place cupcake liners in pan or grease pan and scoop batter in cupcake liners, Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.Cool and then serve with the NEW Cool Whip Frosting on top.

Kraft has some recipes that would be great to check out:

Let your Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes cool and spread the NEW Cool Whip Frosting on the top and top with
sprinkles, nuts or candy M&M's and enjoy your dessert.

The NEW Cool Whip Frosting is in your freezer section and I was so surprised that when I took it out of the freezer it was very creamy and very easy to spread. And it tasted great!!!

I had our children frost there Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes with the New Cool Whip Frosting. I was delighted that it was so light and fluffy.

We topped our Pumpkin Pie Cupcake with the NEW Cool Whip Frosting and topped it with the new candy corn M&M's.

You can use the NEW Cool Whip Frosting everyday. I love to have tea parties or any occasion so I will be using this frosting instead of regular thick frosting. You can use the regular Cool Whip for Pies and many other desserts as well. Our experience with Cool Whip in general has always been positive and yummy!!!

Our whole family enjoyed our Pumpkin Pie Cupcake with the NEW Cool Whip Frosting!!!!

To keep up with the latest and greatest with:

DIAL INTO GIVING CFK SIMPLE SERVICE PROJECT #DIALCFK #CBIAS

We were so excited to do our DIAL Into Giving SIMPLE Service Project. First I sent out an evite to some of my friends to invite them to bring Dial Soap and toiletries to share with our local homeless provider.

Here are some of the items I had asked our friends to bring to our #DialCFK SIMPLE Service Project!!

Some of our friends were not able to make it to the actual SIMPLE Service Project day but they gave to me throughout the week to give to our local homeless provider.
Walmart has great prices on the Dial Soaps and many other items too.

Today we met at our park to share with our friends about Champion For Kids and Dial Into Giving and about the correct way to wash your hands. Each family brought a ton of stuff to give including the Dial Soaps.

Did you Know? 80% of infectious diseases are contracted through your hands. We touch everything. DIAL Complete is recommended by doctors. Wash your hands for 15 to 20 seconds.

I learned that children feel more successful in school when they feel clean. Children need to take there time to wash there hands properly and thoroughly before every meal, after playing on the playground, using the restroom, sneezing, coughing, playing with an animal or preparing food. Very important for maxium health.

Our friends were so generous with giving from there hearts. It's amazing what you can do when several people come together to help others. I love it when others help out because we are ALL called to help and serve others. It's better to give than to receive:)

Our donation items are going to a local organization named :
    LOFT International Inc.
    Loft stands for:
    "Least of These"

    Matthew 25:40
The King will reply, I tell you the truth whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

The VP of LOFT came out to the park to talk to us about her organization. LOFT International Inc. is a very unique organization because they don't have free standing building to do anything out of but rather they use there home to bag 40 meals on Sunday with there family and they each take 20 meals and drive around town to dispute the meals with a bottle of water. They have found that many of these Men or Women have children living on the streets. What I love about  is LOFT that they are loving and encouraging the homeless. They will take them to a local Goodwill and get them new clothing to feel clean. This builds there confidence to want to go out there and find a better life. Many will be waiting there weekly for a meal and a water. We got lots of hand washing items for donations, please read this article about Hand Washing To Help Prevent Disease Article

LOFT is out in the community sharing the Love of Christ.  Ellen's mom Sally was there also and she shared how they are serving the lest of these by handing out the water and food weekly. They will also see if they need toiletries when they are with them. They are trying to build relationships rather than just give them something and walk away. This builds trust which most of these men and women don't have. I know the Dial Soaps and all of the toiletries will  bring help to these people.

LOFT International gave out 8oz water bottle to show how most people drink 8oz or more a day and THE LEST OF THESE get nothing on some days.

Our group with all of our donations to give to LOFT International Inc. When we bagged it up we had four bags to give to our local homeless provider. Thank You so much to all who donated and how you are making a lasting impact.

Be One in a Million to help Champion for Kids meet their goal of 20 million people by 2020. Yeah, we did!!!!

WE are called to Action to get off the bench and get out there and serve our local communities. I pray that you will participate in the DIAL Into Giving Simple Service Project in your community and then report it on the Champion for Kids website.

DIAL INTO GIVING SIMPLE SERVICE PROJECT FOR CHAMPION FOR KIDS #DIALCFK #CBIAS

I was really excited for this SIMPLE Service Project called Dial Into Giving. It is a privilege to be able to serve out in our community. I wanted to participate in the #DialCFK Champions for Kids because it gives our family and others to learn about serving in our community with a SIMPLE act. It's so important to us to be out there serving our local neighborhoods. I want to be 1 in a Million to help reach 20 million kids by 2020 with the gift of GIVING. It's so SIMPLE. Donate your time or your resources to your local homeless shelter, check your church bulletins for opportunities, and why not just look around and I'm sure you will see a need of some kind.

We decided to DIAL Into Giving by going to Walmart and purchasing toiletries for our local homeless shelter. You can purchase an eight pack of soap for under $4.oo. Then you can Live to Give back into your community.

We are going to host a DIAL Into Giving party inviting our friends to Give back to our local homeless shelter which I hope in turn will light a fire within there hearts to give back. Not only can you purchase DIAL Soap but you purchase the DIAL bath wash for a needy family or your homeless shelter.

    Did You Know?
According to the US Census, now over 1 in 5 children are living in poverty in the United States.
Wow, we could be that 1.

In 2011, the number of Americans receiving food stamps hit an all-time high at 46.2 million people- almost 15% of the country?
    Amazing, people are hurting.

Food Stamps cannot be used to buy soap, shampoo, or basic household supplies necessary for good hygiene and healthy children.
Think about it, No Clean Hands, Nasty Germs, Feel SICK!!!!

For 98 cents you purchase a hand soap or two, three, or even four and give it away to someone that needs to hear about basic hygiene for themselves or there children. You don't have to spend alot to make a difference.

Walmart is offering the Dial hand soap for 98 cents until the end of October at stores nationwide.

Men are the providers in our household, they need to feel clean. DIAL has a line just for them to keep them feeling clean.

We purchased some basic hygiene items at Walmart to give our local homeless shelter. Toothpaste is very important to basic hygiene.

Our shopping cart of the many items we purchased to start off our DIAL Into Giving SIMPLE Service Project.
Our local homeless shelter organizer is coming to our DIAL Into Giving Party and is going to talk to us adults and children about there ministry to the local homeless people.

Giving is Living, It's not ours anyways, It's all God's!!!!!!

DIAL Into Giving- Live to Give
To make an impact to our world in a very SIMPLE way, by a few toiletries and share with friends our passion to LIVE to Give and then GIVE Back to our Local Homeless Shelter!!!
Can't wait for our party next week. To see more of my shopping experience please visit my Google Plus Story here.

Please learn more about what Champion for Kids is doing to help others. There are so many opportunities out there.
