At our local Nutrition Store, they had a Homeschool UnCooking Class =RAW

Thank you to Rene for teaching our children about health. 

Our children enjoyed the class very much.

We can't wait for the next class this month:)

Pasta is made from zucchini, very easy and fast.

D Man and Ducky also made cheesy sauce to go with the zucchini pasta.

Our nutrition store has samples throughout the store, D Man and Ducky loved the Red Oranges. I have never seen them before.

We are studying Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day so this was one of our field trip. We are studying sharks and rays in January. It's great to be able to go on field trips and see what you are studying.

This Octopus was so friendly. They are amazing creatures.

Our children got to feed the stingrays, which was the highlight of the day.

They had a touch tank that looked like a big starfish.

I have never seen these guys, they are sand fleas. They kids played with these forever. They thought they were the coolest thing.

Another Trip to The Orlando Science Center

What's Nice about this museum is that they change out there displays often. 

An experiment on electricity, pretty cool.

They go into a tube to feel the effects of a hurricane. 

How much do you weigh in space?

They have a room you can go into to do different science experiments.

This one D Man is looking at tiny plant creatures.

This one was about magnetics.

This one was what happens when you mix vinegar with ammonia then water and so on.

You can use paper towel rolls, old cans, pipe cleaners.

Sea Urchin Class

We took a class on sea urchins at our local nature center.

Sea Urchins collect shells on themselves.

We are studying Apologia Swimming Creatures this year, we haven't gotten to Sea Urchins yet, we are getting there. This was a great addition to our science.

Baby Shower for Step Daughter

My step daughter is having a baby in March and I'm throwing her a baby shower this weekend along with my sister in law. 

This is the invite. All I did was print a pattern off the Internet and then trace and cut out pattern on pin paper. And then I glue a pink bow and invite details on the front of the onesie. 

Thank you to my friend Tara that helped me make the diaper cake for my step daughter's baby.

Diaper Party Favors

These were so easy and fun, even a child can make these. 

I'm going to fill ours up with Chocolate covered raisins.

Cake Balls, I put to much icing in the cake and they were to soft to make cake pops so I frosted the balls and put sprinkles on them. They were all gone.

This is not my gift but they came out good. 

I made soaps for the baby shower, I ran out of time so some of the guests got one. They came out so cute. 

The recipe:

Almond Oil

Essential Oil of any kind

Gycerin

Very simple and they are pretty. 

Ribbon and a Bow and thats it. 

These are my two favorites.
